Information on handling the batteries and the charger can be
found in the chapter "Safety instructions".
Please also be sure to observe the safety instructions of the bat-
tery and charger manufacturer.
Procedures in the event of unintentional release of battery
● If there is spillage or, if the battery is leaking, acid is escaping,
lay down a binding agent such as sand. Do not let it reach the
sewer system, soil or a body of water.
● Neutralise the acid with lime/baking soda and dispose of it ac-
cording to local regulations.
● Contact a waste management company to dispose of faulty
batteries.
● Rinse out your eyes or rinse off your skin with copious
amounts of fresh water if acid splashes into your eyes or onto
your skin.
● Then consult a doctor immediately.
● Wash any contaminated clothing with water.
● Change clothes.

Observe the inspection checklist!
The operating hour counter indicates the time of the maintenance
intervals.
Maintenance by the customer
Note
If maintenance is carried out by the customer, all service and
maintenance work must be carried out by qualified staff. A Kärch-
er specialist dealer can be consulted at any time if needed.
Weekly
● Check the battery fluid level.
(only for low-maintenance battery)
● Check the sealing strips for wear, replace if necessary.
● Check and lubricate the container flap.
● Use the grease gun to lubricate the lubricating nipple on the
suction bar.
Daily before the start of operations
● Check the battery charge level and recharge the battery if nec-
essary.
● Check the hydraulic oil level.
● Empty the waste container.
● Empty the waste water tank.
● Fill the fresh water tank if necessary.
● Check the brush for wear and tear and damage.
● Check the suction lip of the suction bar for wear and tear and
damage.
● Check/clean the water and suction system.
● Check that the control elements are fully functional.
● Check the device for damage.
● Clean the dust filter with the filter cleaner button.
Every 150 operating hours
● Use the grease gun to lubricate the lubricating nipple on the
waste container.
● Use the grease gun to lubricate the lubricating nipple on the
brush head excavation.
● Use the grease gun to lubricate the lubricating nipple on the
bearings of the engine.
● Check the areas around the suspension, wheels, steering and
combustion engine for loose screws and re-tighten them if
necessary.
Every 200 operating hours
● Check the hydraulic connections for leakage and re-tighten
them if necessary.
Every 1500 operating hours
● Replace the dust filter.

Maintenance by Customer Service
Note
In order to preserve warranty claims, all servicing and mainte-
nance work during the warranty period has to be performed by an
authorised Kärcher Customer Service, in accordance with the in-
spection check list.

General safety instructions
WARNING
Risk of death!
Push the vehicle out of the hazard zone of flowing road traffic be-
fore starting any repair work, wear warning clothing.
CAUTION
Risk of injury and damage!
Exercise caution when cleaning with the high-pressure cleaner!
Radiator fins, hydraulic hoses and valves, seals and electrical
and electronic components must not be cleaned using a high-
pressure cleaner.
Risk of injury due to vehicle starting up inadvertently. Remove the
ignition key and battery plug before performing cleaning work or
maintenance work on the vehicle.
Maintenance work on the hydraulic system may only be per-
formed by specially trained personnel.
WARNING
Risk of injury and damage!
Always use and secure the safety support when the tilting device
is raised.
CAUTION
Risk of burns!
Allow the vehicle to cool down sufficiently prior to any mainte-
nance and repair work.
Do not touch hot parts of the hydraulics.

Only fit the locking rod from outside the hazard zone.
1. Raise and secure the waste container with the cylinder sup-
port.
2. After the maintenance work, pull the cylinder supports out
again and fold them into the holder at the top.
