Securing the vehicle
Side brush deck

Bolts for securing the side brush

1. Park the vehicle.
2. Press the side brush deck inwards and secure with bolts.
3. Lock the raised suction bar with the red safety clip as shown.
Note
If the suction bar is not locked for transport, it can be damaged by
swinging in the transport vehicle.
4. Secure the device to the wheels with wedges.
5. Secure the device with ropes or lashing straps.
Note
Note the markings for fastening areas on the basic frame (chain
symbols). Only unload the device on a level surface.
6. When transporting it on vehicles, secure the freight to prevent
it from slipping or overturning in accordance with the respec-
tive valid guidelines.

ATTENTION
Risk of damage!
The vehicle may not be towed above walking speed.
Only push or pull the vehicle slowly.
The towing eye must not be used for towing trailers or objects.
● To tow the vehicle, the freewheel of the hydraulic drive must
be opened. (See chapter "Initial startup | Moving the device
without its own drive".)
● The vehicle is towed at the front using the towing eye. The tow-
ing eye is not a fixed component of the frame, but must be fit-
ted as required.
Storage and decommissioning
ATTENTION
Risk of damage!
Note the weight of the vehicle when decommissioning.
Park the vehicle on a level surface in a dry, frost-free environ-
ment. Protect against dust with a covering material.
Note
If the vehicle will not be used for a longer period of time, please
observe the following points:
● Clean the vehicle inside and out.
● Charge the battery approx. every 2 months.
● Regularly check the acid level in the battery. If necessary, refill
with distilled water.
● Cover the battery and protect it against short circuits.
1. Lift the brushes to avoid damaging the bristles.
2. Empty and clean the fresh water tank, waste water tank and
waste container.
3. Turn the ignition key to "0" and remove the key.
4. Apply the parking brake.
5. Secure the device against rolling away.
6. Disconnect the battery plug connector.
Care and maintenance
● Switch off the device and remove the ignition key if necessary
before cleaning and servicing the device, replacing parts or
changing to another function.
● Disconnect the battery plug connector on the machine.
● Repairs may only be carried out by authorised customer ser-
vice centres or by qualified staff in this field who are familiar
with all relevant safety instructions.
● Children may only carry out cleaning and maintenance work
when supervised.
Personal protective gear
The specified protective gear must be worn by the operator when
cleaning and servicing the machine.
CAUTION
● Wear suitable gloves when working with the device.
● Observe possible requirements for personal protective gear
based on the detergent you are using.
CAUTION
Risk of burns!
Allow the vehicle to cool down sufficiently before removing any
panels.
● In order to carry out various maintenance work, the panels
have to be removed or opened. A 13 mm wrench with a
wrench size of 13 is required to open the screws (bayonet).
