Test oil connection

Use the connection adapters 1 683 386 133 (refer to
Fig. 5, item 1) for connection of a common rail pump
with plug-in system. The connection adapters are
secured with the retaining plate 1 685 200 116 (re-
fer to Fig. 5, item 2). The connection adapters and
retaining plates are included in the scope of delivery
of this accessory set.

1. Connect the inlet pipe (refer to Fig. 4, item 3) to
the inlet connection or pre-supply pump inlet of the
common rail pump.
2. Using hose line (Refer to Fig. 4, item 4) connect the
pre-delivery pump outlet to the dosing unit (ZME)
inlet (only required for common rail pumps with pre-
supply pump).
3. Connect the return to the hose (refer to Fig. 4,
item 5).

In the case of CP 3.4 common rail pumps not requir-
ing return back pressure and return quantity mea-
surement, the return must be connected with the
hose 1 680 712 233 to the return connection
(refer to Fig. 6, item 4).

High pressure connection
¶
Connect the high-pressure hose (refer to Fig. 4,
item 6) to the high-pressure outlet of the common
rail pump.
Tightening torque: 25 – 30 Nm
Lubricating oil connection

Only required for common rail pumps with lubricat-
ing oil supply.
1. Connect lubrication inlet (refer Fig. 4, item 1)
2. Connect lubrication return pipe (refer Fig. 4, item 2)
with transparent PVC hose and connection pipe.
