5.10.5 Using the USB file utilities

The Utilities menu provides access to files, allows folders to be created,
renamed or deleted. It is assumed that a USB key is connected to the
oscilloscope.
Procedure
1. Insert a USB flash drive into the front panel USB port.
2. Press the Save/Recall key. Select any save or recall function. For
example USB Destination in the Save image function.
3. Press File Utilities. The display shows the USB flash drive contents.
4. Use the Variable knob to move the cursor. Press Select to go into
the folder or go back to the previous directory level.

Indicator
When a USB flash drive is inserted into the oscilloscope, an indicator
appears at the right bottom corner of the display. (The USB flash drive
shouldn't be removed when a file is saved or retrieved from USB).
Creating a new
folder / renaming
a file or folder
1. Move the cursor to the file or folder location and press New Folder or
Rename. The file/folder name and the character map will appear on
the display.
2. Use the Variable knob to move the pointer to the characters. Press
Enter Character to add a character or Back Space to delete a
character.
3. When editing is complete, press Save. The new/renamed file or
folder will be saved.
