Playback
To playback your clips from the 'media' page, click the 'capture' icon again to close the 'capture
info' window. Click on a clip that you have captured to display it in the viewer, then simply click
on the viewer transport controls to play your clip.
Editing and Color Grading
Once you've captured your clips, simply click the 'edit' page to begin using DaVinci Resolve's
extensive editing features. Then jump to the 'color' page to color grade your clips. You can refer
to the DaVinci Resolve manual for detailed information on these features.
Avid Media Composer
Avid Media Composer captures and plays back standard definition and high definition video
and audio with Teranex Processor hardware and also supports RS-422 deck control.
For this example, the converted output from Teranex will be 1080i59.94 and we will be
capturing from a non-controllable device.
Setting Up

Launch Media Composer and the 'select project' window will appear. Click the
'new project' button.

In the 'new project' window, name your project.

Go to the 'format' dropdown menu and select 1080i/59.94.

Go to the 'color space' dropdown menu and select YCbCr 709.

Go to the 'raster dimension' dropdown menu and select 1920x1080. Click OK.
If using a single computer monitor with Media Composer,
open the Blackmagic Design system preferences
and choose to send Black when not playing video.
