Replacing the Hard Drive
To replace the hard drive:
1. Carefully place the new hard drive in the mounting bracket and secure with the four hard
drive bracket screws.
2. Connect the SATA power and data cables.
3. Place the mounting bracket (with hard drive) in the rear panel of the system. Secure the
bracket with the four blacks screws.
Initial system startup with a new hard drive
• Format the new hard drive after powering on your system. see "Formatting the Hard Drive"
on page 146.
