Archiving

ARCHIVING DATA

Search for data using start and stop times and
then archive the data to a USB device .
To search for data:
1. Click the NEW ARCHIVING tab on the left.
2. Double-click the blank field beside TAG.
• The Virtual Keyboard opens.
3. Enter a name/title for your archive file.
A tag is required for reserving and

You can also tag recorded data using

4. Under DEVICE, select the device for
archiving (USB device or FTP).
The device name may appear and not

the device itself. For example, in figure 8.1,
"Data Traveler 2.0" is the type of USB flash
drive connected to the system.
5. Beside the FROM field, enter a start time
by clicking the Date/Month/Time by
clicking to select the values.
6. Beside the TO field, select the end time by
clicking the Date/Month/Time by clicking
to select the values.

7. Select the channels you wish to archive by
clicking the checkboxes beside the
channels.

8. Click QUERY.

9. If desired, click RELEASE to clear the

If desired, you can apply the following archiving
options to your archive data:
• LOG: Select LOG to add a log text file to the
FROM and TO field
• MEMO: Double-click the blank field under

Once you have queried the data, you can

or Burn the data (copy the data to a USB
device).
