Using the System Menu

Action Settings

Set event triggers for each channel.
To configure action settings:
1. Set the following:
• ALARM: Select the box to enable the alarm
output when an alarm input is triggered
• VIDEO LOSS: Select the box to enable the
alarm output when video loss occurs on the
system
• MOTION: Select the box to enable the alarm
output when motion is detected on the
system
2. Click APPLY to save your settings or click
CANCEL to restore defaults.

E-MAIL NOTIFICATION

Use the Email Notification menu to configure
to select behavior and action settings for email
notifications to remote users. For details on
setting up email notification, see "Appendix D:
Enabling Email Notification" on page 148.

Behavior Settings

To configure behavior settings:
1. Click the E-MAIL NOTIFICATION tab on the
left.

2. Under NOTIFICATION, click
ON/OFF. If ON, the system will send an
email notification to selected users.

ON/OFF. If ON, the system will send an
email notification when an event occurs on
the internal HDD.

select ON/OFF. If ON, the system sends an
email notification when the system is
powered on/off.
