Outside corners
[] Use scissors to cut a 1" (2,5 cm) long strip from
3 corners of the fabric. See illustration.

(_ Uncut corner
Starting from the uncut corner (_), serge down the entire
length of the fabric edge. Serge one stitch past the
fabric edge.
[] Raise the needle and presser foot.
Gently pull the thread chain off the chaining finger (_Dand
pivot the fabric.

[] When you sew the next edge, align the cutting line with
the upper knife. The needle position should match with
the previous row of stitching,
