[] Clip fabric corner, as illustrated, with scissors,
(_ Cutting line

[_ Serge along the cutting line up to 1" (2,,5 cm) before
the corner,,
[] Pull the fabric toward you in order to keep the cutting
tine of the fabric straight_ Then continue serging
(_ Cutting line
Edging curves
o Outside curves
Serge slowly around the curve, pushing the fabric into the
presser foot and knife to make an even edge,,
o Inside curves
Serge the curve slowly, pulling the front portion of the
fabric to make an even edge,
