To prevent any risk for health and safety the analysis of samples with the S8 TIGER, in-
cluding handling and/or preparation steps, must be entrusted only to persons who have
qualifications in accordance with their activities and functions and who, based on their
technical training, their knowledge and experience and their knowledge of the applicable
standards, are able to evaluate the work assigned to them and recognize possible hazards.
This also includes the knowledge of applicable accident prevention regulations, generally
recognized safety regulations, EC guidelines and country-specific standards and regula-
tions. Carefully read and follow all safety and handling advises in the appropriate material
safety data sheets.

Correct Usage

The instrument was designed to perform element analysis by means of x-ray fluorescence. This de-
vice and its components may only be used for the applications described in the technical description or
in the Bruker AXS literature (e.g. XRF LabReports or XRF Application Reports). You can request
those reports from your local Bruker AXS Service or Sales Representative. It may only be used in
connection with devices or components from other manufacturers that have been approved or recom-
mended by Bruker AXS, for example for automation solutions.

This product can only function correctly and safely if it is transported, stored, set up, and
installed correctly, and if it is operated and maintained as recommended by Bruker AXS.
