Each Multimat2 Touch+Press is additionally supplied with:

• Please retain the transport package.
The supplied package protects the instrument from transport
damage. If possible, keep the package material, in case you
need to transport the instrument later.
3.3 Setup
• Place the furnace on a suitable surface and allow for sufficient
distance to walls (min. 25 cm).
• Place the firing socket on the firing socket holder.
• Connect the power plug of the Dentsply vacuum pump
with the vacuum pump socket on the furnace and insert the
vacuum tube in the tube connector on the furnace. The arrow
on the filter must point into the direction of the vacuum pump.
• If you have a Multimat2 Touch+Press, insert the compressed
air tube of the filter pressure control into the Schott plug
connection of the furnace.
• Connect the filter pressure control with the compressed air
feed and set the operating pressure of the pressure furnace
to 2.7 bar (the operating pressure of 2.7 bar is set by the
manufacturer).
3.4 Initial operation
• Before establishing the power connection, check whether the
mains voltage of your power supply corresponds to the mains
voltage specified on the type label of your furnace.
• Connect the power lead with the furnace and with a mains
socket. The green power LED above the numeric sensor pad
illuminates.
3.4.1 Start screen display
The start screen display showing the Dentsply logo, the version
number of the software as well as the serial number of the con-
trol unit will appear on the screen for 6 seconds.
The firing chamber with a possibly vacuum will be filled with air.
The following screen will appear:

The language selection will be displayed only after resetting the
language in the main menu (see section 4.5.2.3) and a complete
disconnection from main power.
