Date mode
Used to select between these date modes:
DD.MM.YYYY
YYYY.MM.DD
MM.DD.YYYY
Press the sensor field until the desired date mode is displayed.
Automatic activation on/off
Used to activate the automatic power-on time (see section 6.7).
Time 00:00 – 24:00
Used to set the time at which the furnace automatically switches
on, if connected to main power. For safety reasons, this time
can be set max. 24 hours in advance (see section 5.7).

4.5.2.1 Reset calibration offset
Note: Reset the calibration to 0 °C prior to starting the silver test
sequence.
1. Press sensor button "Calibration offset".
2. Press sensor button "C", numerical values are reset to zero.
3. Press sensor button "M" until the previous program is
displayed.
Now open the silver test sequence (#475) and recalibrate the
furnace (see section 6.5).
Note: The offset cannot be manually entered or changed.
Therefore, always run the silver test sequence for calibration.
4.5.2.2 Vacuum test
1. Press sensor button "Vacuum test".
2. Press sensor button "Start/Stop".
The vacuum test starts.
Abort vacuum test by pressing the sensor button "Start/Stop".
The set vacuum of 50 hPa must not decrease by more than
20 hPa within 5 minutes. After the program is complete, the
screen displays whether this requirement is met.
4.5.2.3 Reset language
1. Press sensor button "Reset language".
2. Confirm with the "C" button.
3. Disconnect Multimat2 Touch from main power.

4. Reconnect Multimat2 Touch to main power. The start screen
is displayed, and the language must be selected. All other
individual settings remain set.
5. . Select new language.
4.5.2.4 Heating % (power factor)
This function specifies, with which percentage of the main power
the heating muffle operates. Depending on main power and
heating muffle, the furnace automatically sets to 30 %, 75 %,
85 % or 100 %.
When ordering a replacement heating muffle, always specify the
voltage on the type label of the furnace.
100; 110; 115; 125 V
= 100 V muffel
230 V
= 230 V muffel
4.5.2.5 Reset hours of operation (muffle)
This function can be used to reset the hours of operation of the
muffle after replacing to zero.
1. Press the sensor button "Muffle hours".
2. Enter the code "6070" with the numeric keypad.
3. Select "Muffle hours" again.
4. Confirm resetting with "C".
4.5.2.6 Statistical data

These values are read-only and are used as reference for main-
tenance cycles.
4.5.3 Smart Media Card
The Smart Media Card is used to save individual programs
and for transfer to other Multimat2 Touch and Multimat2
Touch+Press furnaces. (Updating the operating system via
Smart Media Card will soon be available, see also special
functions, chapter 6.16.)

4. Enter program number with the numeric keypad.
5. Press sensor button "Single program" again.
The single program is deleted.
