The theoretical firing data can be displayed at any time by
activating the PR/PC sensor button at the bottom of the screen
(firing data screen).
If no printer or PC symbol is displayed, the data output is disabled.
3.4.6.10 Screen brightness
The screen brightness can be set with the sensor buttons "+" for
increasing the brightness and "–" for decreasing the brightness.
After completion of the basic settings, press the sensor button
" ". The furnace changes to the following screen:

procedure, the screen "Fixed programs/individual programs",
and afterwards the appropriate program list are displayed
(see section 5 Create individual programs).
After selecting the ceramic types "Sinter ceramic", "Pressable
ceramic" and "Special programs", the furnace changes directly
to the appropriate program list.

own a Dentsply furnace, you will quickly recognize the operation
of the DeTrey interface. If you already have used Ceramco fur-
naces, you will probably like the Ceramco test program better.
If you work with foreign ceramics, the test program External may
be better for you. Give it a try.

3.5.1 Test program Dentsply / Ceramco / External
These test programs will provide you with a first impression of
the concrete program functions of the Multimat2 Touch. Please
see section 6 for details.
3.5.2 Start test program
1. Open the firing chamber by pressing the sensor button " "
on the right sensor pad.
2. Select test program.
3. Press the sensor button "Start/Stop". The screen program
procedure is displayed.
Figure 11: Test program
The program starts by heating from the preset idle temperature
to the preheating temperature. During this, the firing chamber is
open. After reaching the preheating temperature, the program
procedure starts with the first program section.
Drying
During this phase, the firing chamber gradually moves down-
ward and the program curve builds up on the screen in depend-
ence of time. Below the program section, the appropriate time
is displayed, counting down to zero.
The vertical lift of the firing chamber normally is 150 mm and
during compression 158 mm. At 0 mm, the firing chamber is
closed. At 150 (158) mm, the firing chamber is in its upper end
position. The standard position for drying is at 80 mm. During
drying, the firing chamber moves in 9 uniform steps from the
upper end position to the standard position for drying. The
standard position "Drying 80 mm" and the 9 steps are factory-
preset values. The end position and the steps can be changed
within these values (see section 6.13 Standard position and
Change steps). We recommend keeping these settings, if there
are no urgent reasons to do otherwise.
Preheating
The firing chamber moves from the last drying position to
the preheating position and the preheating time is displayed
counting down to zero.
After starting, the
Multimat2 Touch
automatically
changes to the
screen program
procedure.
The status bar above
the temperature/time
display shows the
current program
section and the
remaining time.
