hot zones. These substances may cause rotting or other changes to
the glass ceramic surface when they cool down: switch off the
appliance and remove them immediately from the cooking zone while it
is still hot (caution: danger of burns).

take great care when using fats or oils for cooking/frying and to monitor
the cooking process at all times.
