The cooking zones adapt automatically, up to a certain limit, to the diameter of the
pan. However, the bottom of the pan must have a minimum diameter corresponding
to the corresponding cooking zone. To get the best performance from your hob,
place the pan in the centre of the cooking zone.
Suitable materials: steel, enamelled steel, cast iron, stainless steel with ferro-magnetic base,

Manufacturers specify whether their products are induction compatible.
To check if the pans are compatible:
• Put some water in a pan placed on a level-regulated induction c o o k i n g zone [ 9 ]. This
water should heat up in a few seconds.
Place a magnet on the outside bottom of the pan; it should stick.
NOTE: Overheating an empty pan with a curved or logoed bottom or a recess stamped in the
centre could damage the inducer.
