• If there is a drawer located under the built-in appliance, make sure that
there is sufficient distance (2 cm) between the contents of this drawer
and the bottom of the appliance in order to ensure good ventilation.
• Do not place flammable objects (e.g. sprays) in the drawer under the
hob. Any cutlery trays must be made of heat-resistant material.
Precautions in case of appliance failure:
• If a fault is detected, the appliance must be switched off and the power
supply must be disconnected.
• In the event of chipping or cracks in the glass ceramic hob, it is
imperative that the appliance is disconnected from the mains and the
after-sales service is notified.
• Repairs may only be carried out by qualified personnel. Never open
the appliance yourself.
• WARNING: If the surface is cracked, switch off the appliance to avoid
the possibility of electric shock.
Other precautions:
• Always ensure that the cooking vessel is centred in the cooking zone.
The bottom of the pan should cover the cooking zone as much as
possible.
• For users with a pacemaker, the magnetic field may influence the
function of the pacemaker. We recommend that you seek advice from
your supplier or doctor.
• Do not use plastic or aluminium containers: they could melt on hot
hobs.
• Disposal of this device requires a special procedure. Please contact
your local authority about recycling possibilities.
• Never put out a fire with water. Extinguish the cooking area. Carefully
smother flames with a lid, extinguishing cap or similar.
THE USE OF UNSUITABLE COOKWARE OR INDUCTION ADAPTER
GLASS WILL RESULT IN PREMATURE TERMINATION OF THE
WARRANTY. THE MANUFACTURER ASSUMES NO LIABILITY FOR
DAMAGES
THAT MAY OCCUR ON OR AROUND THE HOB.
