7. Putting the mega macs PC SE into Operation
This section gives a description of how to execute and to finish the mega macs PC SE software as well as all the neces-
sary steps for the first use of the mega macs PC SE software.
7.1. Connecting to the HG-VCI PC
NOTICE
The HG-VCI PC must always be connected via Bluetooth® to the PC on which the mega macs PC SE soft-
ware is used.
The HG-VCI PC is a regular feature of the mega macs PC SE. The HG-VCI PC contains certain software components.
Various functions of the mega macs PC SE software therefore require a connection to the HG-VCI PC.
7.2. Executing the mega macs PC SE Software
NOTICE
When putting the product into operation for the first time and after every software update, you need to con-
firm the general terms and conditions (GTC) of the Hella Gutmann Solutions GmbH. Otherwise, certain de-
vice functions will be unavailable.
The first time the device is started you need to confirm also the order processing agreement of the Hella
Gutmann Solutions GmbH. This contract governs the handling of personal data pursuant to the GDPR.
NOTICE
When starting the software for the first time, you need to couple the mega macs PC SE software with the
HG-VCI PC. This requires the mega macs PC SE software to be connected to the HG-VCI PC via USB ca-
ble. A Bluetooth® connection is sufficient when starting up in the future.
Proceed as follows to execute the mega macs PC SE software:
1. Connect the PC and the HG-VCI PC with the USB cable.
2. Select Start > All programs > Hella Gutmann Solutions > mega macs PC SE > mega macs PC SE.
ð The mega macs PC SE software will be started.
ð The GTCs appear.
3. Read the GTCs and confirm them at the end of the text.
