OFF THROTTLE STEERING SYSTEM
STEERING SWITCH
1. Check:
• Steering switch
Refer to "SELF-DIAGNOSIS" in Chapter
9.
Malfunction → Check that the steering
switch switches on and off when the
handlebar is turned to the right and to
the left using the "Engine monitor" of the
Yamaha Diagnostic System.
Does not operate → Replace.
STEPPING MOTOR
1. Check:
• Check the operation of the stepping
motor using the "Stationary test" of the
Yamaha Diagnostic System.
THROTTLE SWITCH
1. Check:
• Check the operation of the throttle
switch using the "Engine monitor" of the
Yamaha Diagnostic System.
PICKUP COIL
Refer to "IGNITION SYSTEM."
THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR
Refer to "IGNITION SYSTEM."
