Sealing the Harsh Enclosure

3.12.2.1. United States and Canadian Sealing
To seal the harsh enclosure follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the appropriate approval region has been selected in setup under Scale > Type >
2. Place the terminal with the front cover face-down on a soft, flat surface.
3. Ensure the gasket is in the correct position.
4. Align the holes in the rear housing with the threaded holes in the front cover.
5. Install the through-hole screws provided in the sealing kit – they replace two or three of the
