Structure and Function of Components
The permitted working pressure in the compressed air supply hose is 10 bar maximum.
The compressed air supply hoses are:
 flexible,
 extremely crush-resistant and kink-resistant,
 heat-resistant (identified by the letter "H"),
 flame-resistant (identified by the letter "F"),
 antistatic (identified by the letter "S"),
and they can therefore withstand the high stresses to which they may be subjected in industry and mining.

Self-Contained Compressed Air Breathing Apparatus and Lung Governed Demand Valve

If it is necessary to use a Self Contained Breathing Apparatus, in conjunction with the compressed airline
breathing apparatus, depends on the work environment and escape routes and shall be assessed as part of the
risk assessment.
