2. Adjusting the spreader thread guide
(1) When spreader

is at the extreme right end of its travel, there
should be a clearance of 0.5 mm between the bottom surface of
spreader thread guide

. After this adjustment is made, tighten

(2) Align the center of the slot of spreader thread guide

on the spreader. Adjustment is made by moving spreader

left to right. After this adjustment is made,

3. Adjusting the thread guide
(1) When the needles are at the bottom of their stroke, position
