CONTROLS ON THE RIGHT PART OF THE
HANDLEBAR
NOTE
The electrical parts work only when the ignition switch
is in position ≈>∆.
1) ENGINE STOP SWITCH (> - ?)
!
Do not operate the engine stop switch "> - ?" in running
conditions.
This is a safety or emergency switch.
With the switch pressed in position ≈>∆, it is possible to start
the engine; when the switch is pressed to position ≈?∆, the
engine stops.
!
To stop the vehicle, use exclusively the ignition switch (A).
Leave the engine stop switch (1) in position ">" and use it
only in case of emergency.
!
With stopped engine and ignition switch in position ">", the
battery may discharge.
If the engine stop switch must be used (1), immediately
afterwards turn the ignition switch (A) to position "?".
2) START PUSH BUTTON (F)
When the start push button ≈F∆ is pressed, the starter makes
the engine run. For the starting, see p. 50 (STARTING).
