15. If knocking or hydrolocking phenomena are noted, increase the stand-by time between the sprinkling
stages. If the knocking does not decrease, place the treatment in stand-by by pressing OK
16. After placing the treatment in stand-by, keep the engine idling to eliminate the knocking or hydrolocking. The stand-by time can
now be increased. Wait for at least 5 minutes before re-starting the treatment
17. If the engine starts running again normally, re-start the treatment by pressing OK
18. When the fluid in the tank reaches the minimum quantity, the machine automatically stops the treatment
19. At the end of the cleaning operations press YES if you want to empty the machine's pipes (recommended) or press NO to
end the operation.
20. Place the sprinkler pipe in an empty container
21. Press OK; in this way the fluid is pumped until the pipes are completely empty.
22. Switch off the vehicle and reconnect the engine's ducts and connections
23. Switch on the engine and keep it idling for 5 minutes before carrying out a road test at low speed.
PURGING THE AIR TANK
1. At the end of the cleaning operation it is essential to empty the tank for two important reasons:
- when changing from the cleaning of a diesel system to a petrol one, and vice versa, to prevent cross-contamination of the
two fluids.
- when you finish using the machine it is necessary to completely empty the tanks and pipes to prevent the fluid from corroding
the gaskets and occluding the pipes.
2. This operation can be carried out at any moment using the PURGE function
3. Place the sprinkler pipe in an empty container
4. Select the PURGE function and press OK, in this way the fluid is pumped until the pipes are completely empty.
