CAUSE OF DAMAGE
1. Do not place accessories on the cavity floor; aluminium foil, greaseproof paper or
crockery. Do not cover the cavity floor with any type of aluminium foil or greaseproof
paper. Do not place crockery on the cavity floor if an operating temperature above 50°C
has been set. Otherwise, heat build-up will occur and the enamel will be damaged.
2. Aluminium foil: The aluminium foil in the cavity must not come into contact with the door
glass. This could cause permanent discolouration of the door glass.
3. Silicone pans: Do not use silicone pans, mats, covers or accessories containing silicone.
The oven sensor may be damaged.
4. Water in a hot cooking compartment: Do not pour water into the cavity when it is hot.
This will generate steam. The temperature change could damage the enamel.
5. Moisture in the cavity: If left for a long period of time, moisture in the cavity may cause
corrosion. Allow the oven to dry out after use. Do not store moist food in the closed cavity
for prolonged periods. Do not store food in the cavity.
6. Do not cool the oven with the door open: after operation at high temperatures, let the
oven cool down on its own with the door closed. Avoid getting anything caught in the
oven door. Even if the door is left open only a crack, the front of nearby furniture may be
damaged over time. Let the oven dry with the door open only if a lot of moisture has been
produced during operation.

7. Fruit juice: When baking particularly juicy fruit tarts, do not fill the baking tray with too
much fruit juice. Fruit juice dripping from the baking tray leaves stains that cannot be
removed. It is strongly recommended that you use the deeper universal tray.
8. Heavily soiled gasket: If the gasket is heavily soiled, the oven door will not close properly
during operation. The front parts of adjacent units may be damaged. Always keep the
gasket clean.
9. Oven door as a seat, shelf or worktop: Do not sit on the oven door or place or hang
anything on it. Do not place cooking utensils or accessories on the oven door (see figure).
10. Inserting accessories: depending on the oven model, accessories may scratch the door
panel when the door is closed. Always insert accessories into the cavity as far as they will
go.
11. Transporting the oven: do not carry or hold the oven by the door handle.
The door handle cannot support the weight of the oven and could break.
12. If you use the residual heat from the switched-off oven to keep food warm, a high
moisture content may occur inside the cavity. This could cause condensation and
