BEFORE USING THE OVEN
Before using for the first time
BEFORE USING THE OVEN TO PREPARE FOOD FOR THE FIRST TIME, THE
CAVITY AND ACCESSORIES MUST BE CLEANED.
1. Remove all adhesives, surface protection films and transport protection parts.
2. Remove all accessories and side grilles from the cavity.
3. Thoroughly clean the accessories and side racks with soapy water and a kitchen towel or
soft brush.
4. Make sure that the cavity is free of packaging debris, such as polystyrene pellets or pieces
of wood that could cause a fire hazard.
5. Clean the smooth surfaces of the cavity and door with a soft, damp cloth.
6. To eliminate the smell of new food, heat the oven when it is empty and the oven door is
closed.
7. Keep the kitchen well ventilated while the oven is heating up for the first time. Keep
children and pets out of the kitchen during this time. Close the door to adjoining rooms.
8. Make the necessary adjustments. In the following section you will find information on
how to adjust the oven before normal use.
