PEACH ICE CREAM
2 cups half & half 1 TBL lemon juice
3/4 cup sugar 2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup nonfat dry milk 1/8 tsp salt
3 cups peeled pitted sliced peaches,
or 16 oz frozen sliced
peaches - unsweetened -
thawed - cold
Combine half & half, sugar and dry milk in a blender or food processor and
process until smooth. Add peaches with remaining ingredients and process
until smooth. Pour into the rotating freezer bowl.
Freezing time: 25-35 minutes
PHILADELPHIA STYLE VANILLA ICE CREAM
1 cup heavy whipping cream 2/3 cup sugar
2 cups half & half 1/8 tsp salt
1 TBL vanilla extract
Combine ingredients with an electric mixer until sugar dissolves. Pour into
the rotating freezer bowl.
Freezing time: 15-25 minutes
SPECIAL DIET
SUGAR FREE PECAN ICE CREAM
3 cups half & half 1 TBL vanilla extract
4 oz Egg Beaters, or egg 1/4 tsp almond extract
substitute 1/8 tsp salt
15 (1 gram) packets Equal 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Combine all ingredients except nuts with an electric mixer until smooth.
Pour into the rotating freezer bowl. Once the ice cream reaches the desired
consistency, add nuts through cover opening without shutting off the
machine and allow to mix.
*Any type nut may be substituted for flavor variation.
Freezing time: 15-25 minutes
