Switching the device off and on
Interrupting and restoring the power supply (power supply operation)

NOTE
All the individual settings in the device are retained in the event of a
restart. If you want to reset the device to factory settings, proceed as
described in the relevant section:
Switching off the device
► Press the ON/OFF button (approx. 3 seconds).
ð The device switches off.
Switching on the device
CAUTION!
Faulty measurement
► Before switching on the scale, check that it has no load.
► Press the ON/OFF button on the display.
ð The device is ready for operation when the main screen is displayed.
If restarting using the display is unsuccessful, you can briefly interrupt the power
supply to the device:
1. Make sure that there is no load on the weighing platform.
2. Disconnect the power supply unit from the power supply socket.
3. Wait about a minute.
1. Plug the power supply unit back into the socket.
ð The device and display switch on automatically.
ð The device is ready for operation.
