This is how you create the barcode with the weight of the wheelchair
or patient table:
– Code type: Depending on the requirements of your barcode scan-
ner (e.g. "Code 128" or "QR")
– Data: "Pre-tare:" plus the weight of the wheelchair or patient table
(e.g. "Pre-tare:19.5" for a wheelchair with a weight of 19.5 kg)
– The device always interprets the QR code as a weight in kg.
Example: QR code "Pre-tare:19.5" for a wheelchair with a weight of
19.5 kg or 41.8 lbs. If the device is set to the unit lbs, it subtracts
41.8 lbs.
1. Remove the weight from the weighing platform.
2. Position the patient in the wheelchair on the weighing platform.
ð The patient's weight with wheelchair is displayed (here: 197.9 kg).
3. Use the barcode scanner to scan the barcode of the additional weight (e.g.
wheelchair).
ð The patient's weight is displayed (here: 178.4 kg).
ð The additional weight of the wheelchair was deducted automatically
(here: 19.5 kg).
NOTE
You can also change the sequence: First, scan the barcode and then
position the patient in the wheelchair on the weighing platform.
