Injury from falling
Patients in motorized wheelchairs might drive onto the weighing plat-
form too quickly or at the wrong angle and fall.
► Help patients in motorized wheelchairs onto the weighing platform.
These patients should not drive onto the weighing platform unas-
sisted.
WARNING!
Injury from falling/damage to device
► If the patient handling aid has a quick-locking mechanism or similar
parts close to the floor, ensure that such parts do not get caught
on the scale or scratch the weighing platform.
WARNING!
Faulty measurement (patient handling aid)
► Make sure that all wheels of the patient handling aid are standing
on the surface sensitive to weighing and do not touch the wall dur-
ing measurement.
► Ensure that the wheels of patient handling aids are not positioned
at the transitions between the weighing platform and ramps (addi-
tionally with the bed scale: between the two weighing platforms),
so producing a force shunt (incorrect measured values).

Faulty measurement
► Help patients in (motorized) wheelchairs onto the scale in order to
position the wheelchair correctly. Patients should not perform mea-
surement themselves.

► Before using the device each time, perform a function check as de-
scribed in the corresponding section of these instructions for use.
