5.22 Establishing power supply

2. Plug the USB stick of the barcode scanner into the USB socket of the
weighing platform.
3. Hang the barcode scanner in the scanner bracket.
NOTICE!
Faulty measurement
The barcode scanner and scanner bracket are in the weighing-sensi-
tive area of the device. If the barcode scanner is not replaced in the
scanner bracket after scanning, the measured result will be falsified.
► Place the scanner back in the scanner bracket after each scanning
procedure.
You need 6 batteries (type AA/1.5 V).
1. Open the latch of the battery compartment.
NOTICE!
Damage to device
Device may overheat and become damaged.
► Ensure the correct polarity of the batteries (markings in the battery
holder).
