If this operation is carried out in "PROGRAM" mode, when "OK" is
pressed to confirm the oven will automatically revert to "MANUAL"
mode, so that the previous program will no longer be running.
To enable steaming, both in "MANUAL" and in "PROGRAM"
mode, simply press the relevant button on the "Steam" keyboard. A
screen will be displayed indicating the steaming in progress, with
reverse countdown of the time (fig.17).
In program mode the duration of steaming can be entered directly in
the program setting window (see paragraph 3.2.10 "Entering a
program").
Steaming is enabled after reaching a temperature of 120 degrees
3.2.9 OPERATING IN "PROGRAM" MODE
To access the programs, simply select the item "PROGRAMS" and
then "LOAD" in the extramenu.
A window like the one in fig. 19 is displayed.
To select the program required from the list of sixty available, simply
use the up and down arrow keys to highlight the program required
and then press "OK".
If none of the programs have been set, the window will display the
programs all set to default values. The indications "Prog. Name" will
be displayed for all of them in place of the program name.
The word "PROGRAM" will appear in the bottom left hand corner of
the main screen to indicate that a pre-set program has been loaded in
the memory ready to be run. The name of the selected program is
also displayed above the oven status. The duration of the end of
cooking timer and the set point temperature will also show the value
set for that specific program.
3.2.10 ENTERING A PROGRAM
If you wish to enter a program, you must first load it (see par. 3.2.9 )
and then select the item "PROGRAMS" and then "VIEW/MODIFY"
in the extramenu.
After pressing "OK", a new screen is displayed (fig.18) in which it is
possible to set all the parameters for the program. Use the up and
down arrow keys to move from one item to the next, the right arrow
key to start modification and the up and down arrow keys to change
the value (press and hold to scroll through the values more quickly).
Press the left arrow key to go back to parameter selection.
The various parameters that can be selected are, from the top down:
-
the program number;
-
program name (max 11 characters);
-
set point temperature PHASE 1 [default 200 °C];
-
set point temperature PHASE 2 [default 0 °C];
-
set point temperature PHASE 3 [default 0 °C];
-
duration time PHASE 1 [default 10:00 min.];
-
duration time PHASE 2 [default 00:00:00 min.];
-
duration time PHASE 3 [default 00:00:00 min.];
-
steam jet injection time [default 2 sec.];
-
steamer 1 [default OFF];
-
steamer 2 [default OFF];
-
steamer 3 [default OFF];
-
extractor active for last minutes [default OFF];
the cooking time displayed will be the sum of the three times that can
be set.
The values of the three steamers mentioned indicate how long after
start-up of the timer counter the jet of steam will be activated. For
example, if it is set to 0:05 the steam jet will be activated 5 seconds
after start-up of the timer.
The maximum start-up value for each steamer is restricted by the end
of cooking time, whereas the minimum value is restricted by the
value set for the previous steamer.
The last parameter that can be set allows the extractor hood to be
activated during the final minutes of cooking or at the most
throughout cooking. It is disabled (OFF) by default.
N.B. To set the name of a program, after accessing "modify
parameter", select the character using the right/left arrow keys and
then use the up/down arrow keys to select the first letter from the
ones available. To delete all the characters in the old name, simply
press "START/STOP". Once the first letter has been selected, use the
right arrow key to move on to the second letter, and change it using
the up/down arrow keys. When the whole name has been written,
press OK to confirm.
After setting all the parameters for the program, press "OK" to store
the program. After this, go back to the environment in which it is
possible to run the program that has just been set.
3.2.11 MODIFYING A PROGRAM
To modify a program that has already been set, select the item
"PROGRAMS" and then "View/modify" in the extramenu.
This gives access to the environment of fig. 18, which is the same
one used to set a new program. At this point, use the up and down
arrow keys to select the item or items to be modified; to modify them
simply enter modify parameter using the right arrow key, then use
the up and down arrow keys, with the exception of "modify program
name" where it is necessary to proceed like you would when setting
(see par. 3.2.10).
After modifying the parameters for the program, press "OK" to store
it.
3.2.12 DELETING A PROGRAM
The sixty programs will always be stored in the control unit memory,
so it is not possible to delete any of them. If a program is no longer
needed, leave it stored but do not use it; it can be modified at a later
date when required.
3.2.13 SELECTING MANUAL MODE
To change from "PROGRAM" to "MANUAL" mode, select the item
"Manual" in the extramenu.
All the cooking parameters previously used in manual mode will be
restored.
The change to "MANUAL" mode is made even if one of the cooking
parameters is modified, restoring all the parameters previously used
in manual mode except the one that has been modified.
3.2.14 DAILY TIMER
To set the daily timer, select the item "DAILY TIMER" in the
extramenu.
It is possible to set two timed start-ups and two timed shut-downs of
the oven for each day of the week.
The screen displays the days of the week, with a timetable for each
day. Use the left and right arrow keys to select the day or time, and
then the up and down arrow keys to set the value required.
The timer is activated by using the up and down arrow keys to set
"ON" next to the start-up time and "OFF" next to the shut-down
time.
The oven will start up at the first "ON" time set that it encounters
after being enabled, and it will turn off at the first "OFF".
When the oven is off the date and time of next start-up is displayed.
It continues to be displayed for a few minutes with a lighted display,
after which the display lighting goes out although the control unit
remains active (the message on the monitor is still visible, but the
display light is no longer on).
The oven will remain in this state until the time set for start-up.
When the time expires the control unit, before commanding start-up
of the oven and after lighting up the display and turning on the door
light, emits an intermittent beep to indicate that the oven is about to
be turned on.
After the visual and acoustic warnings the oven turns on and starts to
heat up.
3.2.15 STATIC / DYNAMIC CARRIAGE
It is possible to select whether to cook with the carriage static or
dynamic, by selecting the item "CARRIAGE" in the extramenu.
This should be done if possible when the oven is turned off. If it is
done when the oven is turned on it will effect shut-down of the oven.
If the static carriage is selected, this is indicated by the word
"STATIC" on the carriage icon.
3.2.16 STATES OF THE EXTRACTOR HOOD
The extractor hood, which is represented by a hood icon, can be in
one of three different states, corresponding to three different icons,
which can be selected using the up and down arrow buttons. 1) The
"dotted" hood icon (Fig. 20 item S) indicates that the hood is turned
off.
2) The "plain" hood icon with dark vapours (Fig. 20 item T)
indicates that the hood is working.
3) The "plain" hood icon with open door illustrated above (Fig. 20
item U) indicates a function that turns the extractor hood on when the
oven is turned off.
WARNING! When the extractor hood is in state 3 (Fig. 20 item
U) extraction will only start when the oven is set to STOP.
