5.10 CHANGING THE SAFETY THERMOSTAT
WARNING! Regularly check that the safety thermostat is
operating correctly.
After carrying out the operations described in point 5.1 above,
proceed as follows:
- Remove the right hand front panel.
- Open the door and remove the rotating carriage;
- Inside the baking chamber, remove the thermostat bulb.
- Disconnect the faston couplings and unscrew the ring nut at the top
right fixing the thermostat.
- Replace the thermostat (Plate A Item 25);
- Perform the above operations in reverse order to reassemble.
5.11 CHANGING THE LCD MONITOR ON THE CONTROL
PANEL
After carrying out the operations described in point 5.1 above,
proceed as follows:
- Remove the front right hand side panel by unfastening the fixing
screws.
- Unfasten the screws and take off the LCD guard cover
- Disconnect the LCD monitor connectors.
- Remove the four anchor nuts, take out the LCD monitor and replace
it.
- Perform the above operations in reverse order to reassemble,
making sure that the connectors are in the right positions; for details
of how to set the language see point 3.2.1 and for how to set the
temperature scale see point 5.13.
NOTE! Perform a general Reset of the appliance as described in
point 5.15.
5.12 CHANGING THE CONTROL PANEL KEYBOARD
After carrying out the operations described in point 5.1 above,
proceed as follows:
- Remove the right hand front panel.
- Unfasten the screws and take off the LCD guard cover
- Disconnect the electrical connections to the LCD monitor keyboard.
- Remove the keyboard with care (Plate A item 30) and clean the
metal surface of the panel thoroughly.
- Check that there is no protective film on the transparent part of the
new keyboard, and if there is remove it, then attach a strip of black
insulating tape on the new keyboard connector in correspondence
with the slot in the metal sheet.
- Insert the connection and attach the new keyboard.
- Perform the above operations in reverse order to reassemble,
making sure that the connection is in the right position.
5.13 SETTING
TEMPERATURES
CENTIGRADE/FAHRENHEIT
The control unit can be set up to show the temperature in degrees
Centigrade or in degrees Fahrenheit. When changing from one
setting to another, once the dip-switch has been set to the required
position the actual change will take place as soon as one of the
buttons is pressed, or the first time the image shown on screen is
refreshed.
After carrying out the operations described in point 5.1 above, to
carry out the setting proceed as follows:
- Remove the right hand front panel.
- Unfasten the screws and take off the LCD guard cover
- Change the dip-switch (fig. 25 item W) on the control panel LCD
monitor to OFF or ON according to the temperature scale you wish
to use, as follows:

- Perform the above operations in reverse order to reassemble.

ADJUSTING SCREEN CONTRAST
After carrying out the operations described in point 5.1 above,
proceed as follows:
- Remove the right hand front panel.
- Unfasten the screws and take off the LCD guard cover
- Using a small screwdriver, turn the regulator screw (fig. 25 item K)
until you have the required level of contrast.
- Perform the above operations in reverse order to reassemble.
5.15 GENERAL RESET
This procedure produces a general reset of the parameters, programs
and daily timers, and must only be performed when advised to do so
by a technician.
To carry out the general reset, access the machine parameters by
pressing "OK" and "down arrow" simultaneously (fig. 10 item 3
and 10) for at least 8 seconds, until the parameters page appears.
Then press the up arrow, down arrow and right arrow keys
simultaneously (fig. 10 item 8-10 and 9) for at least 5 seconds. A
series of three beeps will sound at a distance of seconds to confirm
that the reset has been completed.
The reset also zeros the clock, which will have to be reset.
To return to the main page, press the right arrow and left arrow keys
simultaneously.
NOTE! When a general reset is performed, all the programs and
other settings are cancelled.
5.16 GREASING THE CARRIAGE ROTATION BEARING
SUPPORT
NOTE! Abour every 6 MONTHS (this will vary according to the
type of equipment use) the carriage rotation support needs to be
greased.
After carrying out the operations described in point 5.1 above,
proceed as follows:
- Remove the top panel (Fig.26 item X);
- Grease the carriage rotation bearing support thoroughly with
LGHP2 SKF GREASE FOR HIGH TEMPERATURES via both
nipples (Fig.26 item G);
- Perform the above operations in reverse order to reassemble.
5.17 DISMANTLING
When the appliance or its parts are dismantled, the various
components must be divided according to type of material, and then
disposed of in compliance with current laws and regulations.
The presence of a barred mobile container indicates
that within the European Union electrical components
are subject to special disposal at the end of their
working life. These regulations apply not only to this
device, but to all the accessories marked with the
symbol. These products must not be disposed of
together with normal waste
