is switched on; this serves as a function check.

The key-operated switch turns the device on and off.
Opening the cover

Insert the ignition key.

Turn the ignition key one switch position forward (I).

The device starts and performs a self-test.
Wait briefly, then turn the ignition key one more switch

position forward (II).
The display shows "ON", the device is ready to drive.
To switch off the device, turn the key-operated switch

to the reverse position (0)
Please remove the key, when not in use, to avoid unau-

thorised use of the appliance.
Note
Close the key-operated switch with the cover to prevent
dust and moisture from entering when there is no ignition
key in the lock.
