La fijación del terminal del cable con la tuerca superior deber ser reali-
zada con una fuerza de 3 Newton.
6. PUESTA EN MARCHA, CONTROL Y PARADA
AVISOS IMPORTANTES:
1. antes de arrancar el humidificador compruebe que está en perfectas
condiciones, que no hay fugas de agua y que las piezas eléctricas
están secas;
2. ¡no aplique corriente eléctrica si el aparato está averiado o incluso
parcialmente mojado!
Una vez completada la instalación, limpie con agua el tubo de
alimentación durante 30 minutos aproximadamente, echando el
agua directamente al desagüe, sin mandarla al humidificador; al
hacerlo se eliminarán las posibles escorias o residuos del proceso que
puedan provocar que se forme espuma en la ebullición.
NOTA: solamente para humidificadores con control H, la misma
función se puede realizar automáticamente después de arrancar el
aparato (ver párrafo 6.2.1)
6.1 Comprobaciones preliminares
Antes de poner en marcha el humidificador, compruebe que:
• las conexiones hidráulicas y eléctricas y las conexiones de distribu-
ción de vapor se han realizado según las instrucciones contenidas
en este manual;
• la válvula de corte de agua de alimentación está abierta;
• los fusibles de línea están instalados y están intactos;
• los terminales 7I-8I ó AB están puenteados o conectados al contacto
remoto MARCHA/PARO y que este último está cerrado;
• el tubo de vapor no está estrangulado;
• en el caso de humidificación en conducto, el funcionamiento del
humidificador está enclavado con el funcionamiento del ventilador de
aire (sustituyendo al, o en serie con el, contacto remoto
MARCHA/PARO);
• el tubo de retorno de condensados del distribuidor está instalado y
libre;
• la tubería de drenaje está correctamente conectada y libre.

The fastening of the cable terminal with the higher nut must be
performed with a force of 3 Newton.
6. START-UP, CONTROL AND SHUT-DOWN
IMPORTANT WARNINGS:
1. before starting check that the humidifier is in perfect condition, that
there are no water leaks and that the electrical parts are dry;
2. do not connect power if the appliance is damaged or even partially
wet!
When installation is completed, flush the supply pipe for around
30 minutes by piping water directly into the drain, without sending
it into the humidifier; this will eliminate any scale or processing
residues that may cause foam when boiling.
NOTE: for humidifiers with control H only, the same function can be
performed automatically after staring the appliance (see par. 6.2.1).
6.1 Preliminary checks
Before starting the humidifier, the following should be checked:
• the water, electrical and steam distribution connections have been
made according to the instructions contained herein;
• the water shut-off tap to the humidifier is open;
• the power fuses are installed and intact;
• the terminals 7I-8I or alternatively AB are jumpered or connected to
the remote ON/OFF contact and the latter is closed;
• the steam pipe is not choked;
• in case of humidification in ducts, the operation of the humidifier is
slaved to the operation of the air fan (instead of or in series with the
remote ON/OFF contact);
• the condensate return pipe from the distributor is installed and free to
drain;
• the drain pipe is correctly connected and free.
