Installing the SIROEndo Pocket
4.1

Preparations

1. Cut through the adhesive tape and open the cardboard box.
2. Remove the SIROEndo Pocket and its accessories from the cardboard
box in their original packaging and lay everything down on a flat surface.
Before installing the SIROEndo Pocket, inspect everything for damage.
Any damage which may have occurred during transport must be reported to
the dealer within 24 hours after receipt of the SIROEndo Pocket.
3. Check the contents of the cardboard box for completeness as described
in section: Scope of supply on page 9.
CAUTION !

This product is intended only for use by trained dental personnel.

Do not install the SIROEndo Pocket near direct or indirect sources of
heat.

Do not insert inappropriate objects in the drive shaft of the micromotor.

Prior to initial use, all components of the SIROEndo Pocket unit must be
sterilized or disinfected, see chapter 8.

The packaging of the unit or its accessories must not be used for
sterilization.

Electrical charges must be prevented. An electrostatic discharge (ESD)
via the micromotor may cause the monitor to flicker. In this case, the unit
must be disconnected from the voltage source.
4.2

Lifter

A fold-out lifter (A) is located on the bottom of the SIROEndo Pocket.
It can be used to tilt the unit to give the user a better view of the keyboard
(see illustration).
