47 - 63 Hz or with a storage battery power supply.
The unit automatically switches to the standby mode after 10 minutes.
The LED next to the "Power" key then flashes.
To switch the unit back on, press any key except "Power".
To switch it off, press "Power".
The unit automatically switches off after 30 minutes in standby.
CAUTION !
Danger of overheating if switched on too long
The micromotor may be operated only at intervals, i.e. it always must be
switched off for 10 seconds following 30 seconds of continuous opera-
tion.
Do not use the micromotor if its temperature has exceeded 40 °C
(104 °F). In case of overheating, interrupt treatment and wait until the
temperature of the micromotor has dropped below 40 °C (104 °F) before
resuming treatment.
If the micromotor overheats again during the same session, do not use it
any more and contact your service engineer.
1.
Attach the contra-angle handpiece. The SIROEndo Pocket unit can ac-
commodate any contra-angle handpiece with a coupling compliant with
ISO standard 3964. (Attention: the correct speed is displayed only for 6:1,
16:1, 18:1, 20:1 and 24:1 contra-angle handpieces.)
2.
Connect the foot control to the unit. The foot control always has to be con-
nected when the device is used. This ensures that the micromotor can be
deactivated with the foot control although it may have been activated
through the keyboard.
3.
Switch the unit on: A welcome message and the current software version
will briefly appear on the display.
