Automatic motor stop on reaching the apex
Press the "Cal" key briefly.
If the "Cal" key is pressed briefly, an asterisk appears to the right of the
Cal
root canal symbol. This indicates that the micromotor, if it is running, will
stop on reaching the apex (foramen apicale).
In case of ambiguities, see chapter 10 for "What should I do if...".
Automatic motor stop and AutoReverse on reaching

Briefly press "Cal" again (** on bottom left of display).
The micromotor automatically stops on reaching the apex. If you then

release the foot switch and actuate it a second time, the micromotor will
run counterclockwise to exit the canal.
If you release the foot switch again and press down one more time, the
micromotor will run clockwise again.

Special functions
Simultaneously press the "Set Up" and "System " keys.
Alternatively for the battery-powered mode:
Press "System " key during power-up.
Make sure that the storage battery has been charged before loading any new
software. "Battery" LED lights up green.
If the unit is connected to the line power supply, please disconnect it.
Now switch the unit off.
Then insert the SIROEndo Pocket software stick in the USB port and wait for
3 seconds. Then press the "Cal" key and keep it pressed while switching the
unit back on.
The following message appears on the display:

The unit automatically switches off again at the end of the loading process.
Now remove the SIROEndo Pocket software stick.
When switching the unit on again, press "System " for a longer period of
time to load the manufacturer's settings.
The unit is now again ready for operation.

NOTE
If you have saved a personal file assortment to the memory stick, please
delete it (cf. Section 6.2. Deleting the complete personal file assortment).
