Reporting Wrong/Stale Location

The WAVE PTX Dispatcher/Application is
unable to view the location of a specific
radio or location reports are wrong/stale.

The WAVE PTX Dispatcher/Application is

unable to view the location of a specific
device or location reports are wrong/stale.

After the WAVE PTX user account is ena-
bled, press and hold the PTT button for 3
seconds to attempt login.
Resolutions
●
Verify that the
Location Reporting
icon is displayed on your radio status bar.
●
Verify that Automatic Location Publish
Control is enabled under Manage Con-
tacts → Features in the WAVE PTX Por-
tal.
●
Verify that the location reporting radio
(TLK 110) and the location watcher
(WAVE PTX Dispatcher/Application) are in
each other's contact list.
●
Verify the location reporting interval in the
Dispatcher and Application.
NOTE: Default location reporting
is once every 10 minutes.
●
After the WAVE PTX user account is ena-
bled, press and hold the PTT button on
the radio for 3 seconds to attempt login.
●
Verify that the Location is enabled
through voice command or in the SET-
TINGS page in the WAVE PTX Portal.
●
Verify that Automatic Location Publish
Control is enabled under Corporate
Management → PTT Users → Features
in the WAVE PTX Portal.
●
Verify that the location reporting device
(TLK 25) and the location watcher (WAVE
PTX Dispatcher/Application) are in each
other's contact list.
