10.1. Exchange facial seal
Warning!
The protection function of the fa-
cial seal between face and visor
is not guaranteed due to wear,
deformation or damages.
Danger due to hazardous sub-
stances.
→ Exchange facial seal. (see
spare parts)
Remove facial seal.
■ Detach the facial seal
hooks behind the head straps
and on visor hooks
Attach new facial seal.
Notice!
The facial seal is designed sym-
metrically and can be used on
both sides. For an easy align-
ment, start attaching at the visor
tip.
■ Attach new facial seal

10.2. Exchange visor foil.
Warning!
Any soiling of the visor foil can
impair the field of vision signifi-
cantly.
This hinders the ability to detect
hazards.
→ Clean visor foil regularly
(see chapter 15)
→ Exchange visor foil
■ Pull off the visor foil
[7-4]

■ Check the sealing edge
the visor for soiling, clean carefully if
necessary. Avoid damages.
■ Put the new visor foil
and push it on the visor bolts. Make
sure the visor foil is seated correctly.
10.3. Exchange visor bolts.
The visor bolt [8-1] is inserted in a
borehole on the visor and fastened
with a spreading device [8-2].
Remove visor bolt.
■ Push out the spreading pin with a 3
mm pin punch.
■ Remove the visor bolt.
Attach new visor bolt.
■ Insert the new visor bolt.
■ Push in the spreading pin from the
front until it is flush.
10.4. Exchange comfort
