Remove comfort head band.
Notice!
Mark the position of the head
straps on the front assembly flaps
[5-1].
Remove the head straps from the
hood shell by loosening the front
and rear assembly flaps.
■ Remove the comfort head band
from the head straps
■ Clean/disinfect the forehead side of
the head straps.
Attach new comfort head band.
■ Fold the new comfort head band
[9-3]
around the head straps flaps
[9-4]
between the two front assem-
bly flaps.
■ Insert the head straps in the hood
shell as marked on the assembly
flaps. Ensure the breathing protection
hood is seated properly.
10.5. Insert air guide ele-
ment.
Notice!
The air volume flow inside the
breathing protection hood can be
found to be annoying.
If required, insert the air guide ele-
ment in the provided grooves with
the four projections [10-1].

11. Operation air regulator

11.1. Initial commissioning

Air regulator
The air regulator is delivered in an
assembled and operationally ready
state.
Check after unpacking:
■ Air regulator damaged.
■ Scope of delivery complete (see
chapter 6.2).
Personalise air regulator.
The air regulator can be personal-
ised with a CCS-disk [11-1]. A red
CCS-disk is mounted on the air
regulator [11-2] at the plant.
Exchange CCS-disk
Pull off the CCS-disk on the air
regulator and replace it with a CCS-
disk of a different colour.
Exchange fastening module on
carrying side.
Notice!
The fastening module [12-1] on
the air regulator is mounted for
right-handed persons at the plant.
The breathing protection hood
connection must always point to
the rear.
Conversion for left-handed persons
■ Fold out the hood bracket
■ Screw out the screws
■ Exchange the assembly side of the
hood bracket and fastening module
[12-1]

■ Fasten the hood bracket and the
[12-3]
.
