1.4. Accident prevention
In principle, the general as well as
country-specific accident prevention
regulations and the corresponding
workshop and operation safety
instructions are to be adhered to.
Respiratory device wearers are
to be checked for suitability using
medical examinations. "Employ-
er's Liability Insurance Association
principles for occupational-medical
health examinations G 26: Wearers
of respiratory devices for work and
rescue operations". In addition, the
relevant regulations according to
breathing protection bulletin DGUV-
rule 112-190 are to be adhered to.
1.5. Replacement, accessory
and wear-and-tear parts
In principle, only original replace-
ment, accessory and wear-and-tear
parts from SATA are to be used.
Accessories that were not delivered
by SATA are not tested and not

approved. SATA assumes no liabili-
ty whatsoever for damages incurred
due to the use of unapproved
replacement, accessory and wear-
and-tear parts.

1.6. Warranty and liability

The SATA General Conditions of
Sale and Delivery and further con-
tractual agreements, if applicable,
as well as the valid legislation at the
time apply.
SATA is not liable in case of
■ non-adherence to the operating
manual.
■ use of untrained personnel.
■ unintended use of the product.
■ personal protection gear not being
used.
■ original accessory and spare parts
not being used.
■ independent conversions or technical
changes.
■ natural wear and tear.
■ abnormal impact.
■ impermissible assembly and disas-
sembly work.
