- Remove the cover closing the thermostat sensor by unfastening the
fixing screws (item A, fig.20).
- Remove all of the wool insulation as necessary.
- Loosen the two screws fastening the thermostat sensor (item D,
fig.20) from inside the chamber.
- Slide out the thermostat sensor between the metal locking plate (item
B, fig.20) and insulation (item C, fig.20).
- Remove the reset button cover plug (item A, fig, 19) and unfasten
the thermostat fixing nut.
- Disconnect the thermostat faston connectors.
- Replace the thermostat with the relative sensor and restore any
portion of wool insulating material.
- Perform the above operations in reverse order to reassemble.
NOTE: When refitting the thermostat sensor, take care that it does
not touch the sheet metal part of the chamber but that it is
touching the relevant insulation material (item C, fig.20).
5.3.10 CHANGING THE MAIN SWITCH
After carrying out the operations described in point 5.1, to change the
main switch proceed as follows:
- Remove the RH side panel by unfastening the fixing screws.
- Disconnect the switch faston connectors (item B, fig.19).
- Replace the switch.
- Perform the operations in reverse order to reassemble.
5.3.11 CHANGING THE HEATING ELEMENTS
After carrying out the operations described in 5.1, to change the heating
elements proceed as follows:
- Remove the RH side panel by unfastening the fixing screws.
- Disconnect the wires feeding the heating elements.
- Unfasten (where fitted) the casings covering the insulation.
- Remove the insulation, trying not to damage it.
- Unfasten the fixing screws of the heating elements and slide them out
(to make this operation easier, it may be necessary to turn the
electrical panel by unfastening its fixing screws).
- Perform these operations in reverse order to refit the new elements,
restore any portion of damaged insulation, taking care that it does not
touch any electrical contacts.
NOTE: When sliding in the new heating elements, make sure that
they pass inside the special slots in the sheet metal inside the
chamber.
5.3.12 CHANGING THE DOOR OPENING MICROSWITCH
After carrying out the operations described in 5.1, to replace the door
opening microswitch, proceed as follows:
- Remove the spring as in paragraph 5.3.7.
- Disconnect the wires feeding the micro.
- Replace the micro (item D, fig.18).
- Perform the operations in reverse order to reassemble.
5.3.13 CHANGING THE CONTROL PANEL KEYPAD
After carrying out the operations described in point 5.1, to change the
control panel keypad proceed as follows:
- Unfasten the screws fixing the control panel complete with keypad.
The keypad (item A, fig.21) is attached to the control panel using
special double-sided tape.
- Remove the RH side panel by unfastening the fixing screws.
- Disconnect the keypad connectors.
- Replace the control panel complete with keypad.
- Perform the operations in reverse order to reassemble, making sure
that the connectors are in the right positions.
- Adjust keypad sensitivity using the special adjustment screws (item
C, fig.21).
NOTE: For the correct operation of the keypad, only use the
special double-sided tape supplied by the manufacturer.
5.3.14 CHANGING THE CONTROL PANEL LCD MONITOR
After carrying out the operations described in point 5.1, to change the
control panel LCD monitor, proceed as follows:
- After removing the control panel keypad, as in paragraph 5.3.13,
unfasten the fixing screws of the control panel LCD monitor (item
B, fig.21).
- Remove the RH side panel by unfastening the fixing screws.
- Disconnect the LCD monitor connectors and replace the monitor.
- Perform the operations in reverse order to reassemble, making sure
that the connectors are in the right positions.
NOTE: It is possible to adjust screen contrast using a small
screwdriver on the special adjustment screw at the back until you
achieve the required level (item F, fig.21).
5.3.15 CHANGING THE OVEN DOOR
After carrying out the operations described in 5.1, to replace the oven
door proceed as follows:
- Remove the LH and RH side panels by unfastening the fixing
screws.
- Remove the front bottom surround (item D, fig.22) turning it so as to
unfasten the fixing screws from the side uprights (items B and C, fig.
22).
- Remove the LH and RH side uprights (item C fig.22) and (item B,
fig.22) unfastening the screws (item D fig.21) on the inside and the
screws (item E, fig.21) on the sides. Before removing the RH
upright, it is necessary to disconnect the LCD monitor and keypad
connectors.
- Take off the door by unfastening the fixing screws (item A, fig.22).
- Perform the operations in reverse order to reassemble, making sure
that the connectors are in the right positions.
NOTE: For the correct door alignment, use the LH (item A, fig.23)
and RH (item B, fig.23) adjustment shims provided.
5.3.16
CHANGING THE INTERNAL DOOR MECHANISM
After carrying out the operations described in 5.1, to change the
internal door mechanism proceed as follows:
- Remove the spring as in 5.2.7.
- Turn the door slowly until it is fully open.
- Remove the outer panel of the door, unscrewing it from the inside.
- Close the door and replace the component in question.
- Perform the above operations in reverse order to reassemble.
5.3.17
CHANGING
COMPONENTS
After carrying out the operations described in 5.1, to replace the steam
valve mechanism components proceed as follows:
- Remove the RH side panel by unfastening the fixing screws.
- Unfasten the fixing screws (item A, fig.24) of the steam valve
assembly.
- Unfasten the screws fixing the rotary joint (item B, fig.24).
- Disconnect the wires feeding the components.
- Place the steam valve assembly on a work table and replace the
component in question.
- Perform the above operations in reverse order to reassemble.
NOTE: For correct steam valve assembly operation, before
refitting, make sure that the micro is correctly positioned on the
cam shaft.
5.4
CHANGING
COMPARTMENT
5.4.1
CHANGING THE LAMP
After carrying out the operations described in point 5.1, the lamp
and/or relevant cover (item 18/17 Plate B) are replaced from inside the
leavening compartment, proceeding as follows:
- Open the doors of the leavening compartment.
- Unfasten the cover and replace the lamp and/or cover.
- Screw the cover back on.
5.4.2
CHANGING THE THERMOCOUPLE
After carrying out the operations described in 5.1, to change the
thermocouple proceed as follows:
- Remove the RH side panel by unfastening the fixing screws (fig.12).
- - Unfasten the thermocouple fixing nut.
- - Disconnect the two cables feeding the thermocouple.
- Replace the thermocouple.
- Perform the above operations in reverse order to reassemble, making
sure that the connectors are in the right positions.
- For correct temperature reading, always make sure that the
thermocouple bulb is in line with the inside of the chamber.
5.4.3
CHANGING THE ELECTRONIC CARD
After carrying out the operations described in point 5.1, to change the
electronic card proceed as follows:
- Remove the RH side panel by unfastening the fixing screws (fig.12).
- Disconnect the electrical connections to the card.
- Remove the card by unfastening the fixing screws.
- Perform the above operations in reverse order to reassemble, taking
care that you connect the card correctly.
NOTE: When the electronic cards have to be replaced, perform a
general Reset of the appliance as described in point 5.6.
5.4.4
CHANGING THE INDICATOR LIGHT LAMP
After carrying out the operations described in point 5.1, to change the
indicator light lamp proceed as follows:
