9.4 The Ejection module

• Reduced pressure!
– In order to prevent injuries, the working pressure of the gripper is reduced to
400 kPa (4 bar) and of the measuring cylinder to 200 kPa (2 bar).
– The pressure regulators are sealed with a sealing lacquer. Do not change the
setting of the pressure regulators under any circumstances.
WARNING
The Ejection module can stop MPS workpieces or
cartons and transfer them onto a slide.
The module consists of two 5/2-way valves, two
double-acting cylinders as well as position sensors
and a diffuse sensor. A slide on which the ejected
parts are placed must be installed opposite the
stopper setup.
If a workpiece needs to be ejected, the stopper
cylinder advances. The diffuse sensor detects that
there is a part at the stopper and the ejection cylinder
advances. If the workpiece is on the slide the two
cylinders go back to their initial position
