Valve Clearance
1- Remove the eye joint bolt and the split pin of decompress rod,
and remove the cylinder head cover.
2- Crank the engine until the piston is at T.D.C of its compression
stroke. Both valves should be in the up position (rocker arm loose).
3- Align the "T" mark on the flywheel with the notch on the side apron (1).
4- Adjust the clearance of the intake and exhaust valves to the
factory specification by turning the adjusting screw.

(When cold)
• NOTE
-After adjusting the valve clearance, firmly tighten the lock nut on
the adjusting screw.
-After tightening the lock nut and turning the flywheel by 2 to 4
turns, recheck the valve clearance.
Luz de Válvulas
1- Sacar el bulón y el gancho partido de la varilla de descompresión,
y sacar la cubierta de la cabeza de cilindro.
2- Hacer arrancar el motor hasta que el pistón está en el P.M.S.
de su golpe de compresión. Ambas válvulas deberán estar en la
posición hacia arriba (balancines flojos).
3- Alinear la marca "T" del volante con la muesca del tablero lateral (1).
4- Ajustar la luz de las válvulas de entrada y salida a la especificación
de fábrica girando el tornillo de ajuste.
Luz de válvula
(En frío)
• NOTA
- Después de ajustar la luz de válvula, sujetar firmemente la tuerca
de traba sobre el tornillo de ajuste
- Después de apretar la tuerca de traba y girar el volante de 2 a
4 vueltas, volver a revisar la luz de válvulas.
