REMOVING GENERAL PURPOSE SENSOR FROM BRACKET
1. Pull general purpose sensor away from bracket to remove.

established by your facility.
Dispose of single-use components as infectious waste. Clean and sterilize reusable components after each

use.
See your ultrasound system's user guide for reprocessing transducer between use.

Refer to general purpose sensor instruction for reprocessing.
n
This procedure for reprocessing has been validated for effectiveness and compatibility. Device could be
n
damaged or cross-contaminated due to improper reprocessing.
Do not gas sterilize or autoclave bracket or general purpose sensor.
n
If bracket damage is evident, discontinue use and contact your CIVCO representative.
n
Inspect general purpose sensor for damage such as cracks or breakage. If damage is evident, discontinue
n
use of general purpose sensor and contact CIVCO.
CLEANING THE BRACKET
1. After each use, remove bracket from transducer, discarding single-use, disposable components. Remove
visible contaminants from bracket surface using a small, soft instrument brush. Keep bracket from drying out
until complete cleaning can be accomplished.
2. Inspect bracket for damage such as cracks or breakage.
