Detach the battery pack from the AC power
adaptor.
If the CHARGE lamp flashes again, install
another battery.
The CHARGE lamp lights up.
Install the same battery again.
If the CHARGE lamp lights up and goes out
after a while, the battery is operating correctly.*
If the CHARGE lamp goes out after a while, the
problem is with the battery firstly installed.
The CHARGE lamp flashes.
The problem is with the AC power adaptor.
Please contact your nearest Sony dealer.
* If you use a battery pack which you have just brought or which has been left unused for a long time, the
CHARGE lamp may flash at the first charging. But this is not a problem. Continue to charge with the same
battery pack.
Note on the POWER lamp

The POWER lamp wili remain lit for a while even if the power cord of the unit is disconnected after using. This
is normal.
