Disposal

SICK cannot accept return of unusable or irreparable devices. When
disposing of the units:
1. Observe national waste disposal regulations.
2. Remove the device housing.
3. Remove the front screen and send it for plastics recycling.
4. Send the powder-coated housing for aluminium recycling.
5. Dismantle electronic modules and connecting cables.
6. Dispose of all electronic modules and connecting cables as special
waste or electronic scrap.

Troubleshooting
In case of error, LEDs and the seven-segment display on the sender and
receiver of the C 2000, the M 2000 and the M 2000-A/P display
diagnostic information. The following tables show the meanings of the
displays, the causes of errors and the possibilities for testing and
remedying them.
Meaning
A Guest device has
detected a configuration
error in the system.
Error during the reset
procedure.
Reset procedure
completed.
The Host has detected a
configuration error in the
system.
The device is in the OFF
state.

Cause, test
The parameters (number
