Devices with a Hirschmann plug: The senders and receivers
have either Hirschmann 6+PE or M 12 plugs.
RES/EDM, cascadable
Devices with a Hirschmann plug: The senders have 6+PE
plugs and the receivers 11+PE plugs. Alternatively, the
senders and receivers are also available with M 12 plugs.
The Hirschmann plug allows cables with a cross section of
1 mm 2 to be connected (maximum cable length 60 m).
The M 12 plug allows cables with a cross section of

0.25 mm to be connected (maximum cable length 15 m).
