PELIGRO
El combustible y otras sustancias inflamables no de-
ben ser acercados a los componentes eléctricos.
Lleve una máscara para la cara, guantes de protec-
ción y ropa no inflamable.
Descargue la instalación de refrigeración, véase
pág. 71 (DESCARGA INSTALACION DE REFRIG-

ERACION ).
Desmonte la tapa de inspección izquierdo, véase pág.
41 (DESMONTAJE TAPAS DE INSPECCION DERE-
CHA E IZQUIERDA).
Desconecte el terminal (B) (cable blanco/azul marino
(Bi/B)) del termistor (21).
Desmonte el termistor (21), véase MANUAL DE TA-
LLER MOTOR # 921 (I-UK-F-D-E).
Conecte, según lo indicado en figura, un tester de bol-
sillo (D) (programado como óhmetro) al termistor (21).
Introduzca el termistor en un recipiente (F) con líquido
refrigerante.
Introduzca en el mismo recipiente un termómetro (E)
con campo de medida 0 ÷ 150 °C.
Coloque el recipiente sobre un hornillo (G) y caliente
despacio el líquido.
Controle la temperatura indicada por el termómetro y el
valor del termistor indicado en el tester.
Compruebe que el termistor varíe según la temperatura,
como está indicado.

WARNING
Keep fuel and other flammable substances away from
the electric components.
Wear a face mask, protective gloves and non-flamma-
ble clothes.
Drain the cooling system, see p. 71 (DRAINING THE

COOLANT SYSTEM
Remove the left inspection cover, see p. 41 (REMOV-
ING THE RIGHT AND LEFT INSPECTION COVERS).
Disconnect the terminal (B) (white/blue (Bi/B) cable)
from the thermistor (21).
Remove the thermistor (21), see ENGINE SERVICE
AND REPAIR MANUAL # 921 (I-UK-F-D-E).
Connect a pocket tester (D) (set as an ohmmeter) to
the thermistor (21), as indicated in the figure.
Dip the thermistor into a container (F) containing cool-
ant.
Dip a thermometer (E) with range 0÷150 °C into the
same container.
Put the container on a burner (G) and slowly warm up
the coolant.
Check the temperature indicated by the thermometer
and the thermistor value indicated by the tester.
Make sure that the thermistor varies according to the tem-
perature. as indicated.
